Hi readers
The world is still a crazy place out there and even though some countries are getting ready to open up a bit I believe we are not out of the woods quite yet. Luckily Sweden has not been as strict and that has allowed those of us who live her a fair amount of freedom. I also believe that it has allowed me a modicum of creative flow. I have found myself in a creative peak, a bit too creative in fact. I have several calls I want to submit to and not enough time to finish all the stories in time. At the moment I am working on three stories and have to decide which ones I want to focus on and which one might be left by the wayside. There will always be other calls.
In actual news I was informed yesterday that I have been accepted by Insignia Press' drabble anthology about Southeast Asia. I have three drabbles in it and I am immensely proud of them. It was fun investigating the myths and folklore of that region. I managed to find a podcast called the History of Southeast Asia and episode 76 was all about monsters. Supernatural, originally from Carpathia but now from Irish Horse, is ready for pre order and you can find the link under the published works section on the page. I have tow stories featured in it, The Day the River Freezes and And the Windows Shook, both part of the Wisconsin Noir Cycle.
I also woke up to find that two more drabbles have been added to Fatal Faeries due out on the 20th this month. Those stories are Now and Ever After and May Eve, the latter written on May Eve in fact.
The Guild Podcast is really gaining some steam and has been aided by the Author Round Table about Stephen King. If you have not listened you can find it wherever you listen to podcasts or here on the site under W.A.R.G. Next round table will be Lovecraft so check for that.
That is the news for now. Stay safe and keep in touch. Share this blog if you find it interesting. Follow me wherever you can find me this Linktree address guides you to all my social medias https://linktr.ee/C.MarryHultman
Sincerely,
Chris
