Presentation 1: Karsten Kolhester

In this post I will try something new. Every so once in a while I'll post a character, place or race description and this will be the first one. The first real main character Karsten Kolhester - these details are of course subject to change.

Name: Karsten Kolhester

Home: At the foot of Mount Basem in the Northern Territories (Quinac)

Occupation: Trapper, former mercenary and Trailman.

Race: Human

Physical Description: Karsten is described as being close to seven feet, he has broad shoulders and a powerful fram from years training as a mercenary and then working on his own home. He wears his gray hair short and his salt and pepper beard nicely cropped to make his round face thinner. His eyes are steel blue and deep set. An old scar rund from his left eyebrow down towards the corner of his mouth. His body is riddled with scars from ancient battles. When first introduced he weares a leather jerkin, with matching pants covered by a wool coat with a hood to keep the cold and snow at bay.

Background: As of yet Karsten's origins are unclear, but he will later on refer to his time in the mercenary group White Crosses which would lead one to believe is from the kingdom of Ohs or close by where that kind of group name is used. Trained as a warrior when a mercenary and eventually leading his own troop and leaving after the last great war. Together with some of his troop he walked the trail, what they call going on adventure, until he settled down in Quinac with his wife.

Role in the story: Karsten is looking to avenge the death of his wife Lo and daughter Meja. He knows the murderer, who he refers to as The Wanderer, claims to be part of an old group of Death Dealers called Black Thistle. His goal is to gather the remaining members of his troop/trail group and head to the capital of Ohs to find more The Wanderer's whereabouts.

That is all I know about Karsten Kolhester at this time. Close to 7000 words written in the past three days.

Music of the session: Day and Age by Frost*
