Hi guys, thought that it would be only fitting to update with some news of what's going on. As it pertains to my writing things are going well. I have decided to submit two short stories to one collection with a deadline in February. One of those tales is good to go whereas the second is about 200 words shy of the minimum word count. It sucks a bit since it was shortened to match a different collection last year. I am close to 8000 words on the story that I am submitting in March so there will have to be some editing done there as well. All in all things are going well, even if I'm really only writing on the weekends.
In other news I have decided to migrate my Wordpress account to this blog. That means that Writer's, Artist's and Reader's Guild will become a permanent part of Wisconsin Noir. You can read up on all my interviews, reviews and other musings below. W.A.R.G was from the beginning designed to be a community of creative people working together. In the end it has mostly been me doing solo work, but I have been helped by music expert Tobias Andrews, cultural master Dim van Dam and a few others. W.A.R.G will be updated from now on with reviews and interviews. The Guild also has a podcast W.A.R.G -The Guild that you can find anywhere podcasts are available. It wasa way for me to talk to writers and get into their minds about writing. I am especially proud of my talk with Peter S. Beagle and Dan Fogler. There are still tweaks to be done and posts to be sorted and soon the podcast will be integrated with the blog.
So check it out and read up on all the past posts.
